About Us
The Kent name is not a stranger to supplying area contractors and Pensacola homeowners with the right tools and advice to complete their projects. Our principals, Bob and Andrew Kent, have more than 40 combined years of experience in the equipment rental business, serving customers throughout Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Fort Walton, Mobile, and Northwest Florida.
History
Kent Rental grew its roots from Kent’s Rental Center, which was founded in 1978 by Bob and Martha Kent as a full line party and construction equipment rental store. Over the years the company went through many variations, including a narrowing of focus on construction equipment and a divestiture in the late 1990’s to one of the large national chains. Dissatisfied with the level of service the national organizations were providing customers, we chose to focus on construction related lines of business and re-opened in our original location in April 2003, officially returning to our roots and the Kent Rental name in April of 2006.

As members of the American Rental Association, the Pensacola Homebuilders Association and the Better Business Bureau, we are committed to expert service in all facets of the business. Safety and customer service are key elements of the Kent Rental workforce, enabling us to provide responsive, professional service and support. We also ensure up-to-date equipment from brands you know and trust.
Our goal is to provide you with the right tools for the job at hand. It’s not only our business that resides in Northwest Florida, we are native residents with roots going back to the 1920’s. We are dedicated to the customers, employees, family, and friends of our community.
